VW Scirocco

Volkswagen cars are always on the top in every Malaysian collector's list. Not only because of the brand, but the cars are famous here in Malaysia. IMO VW hatchbacks or the short term, hot hatches are always among the best design cars. my personal favorite would be the Golf and scirocco.
Hot wheels first release the scirocco casting in 2010..but the one from Speed Machine series caught my interest most because of the cool highlights on the car details. The casting i believe is based on the GT-R version. The other brand is from siku which features the scirocco in its stock form. It was my first Siku and yes I like it :)

Even though there are from different brands, taking pics of them side by side looks perfect!

New Speed Machines Additions!

It has been quite a while since my last Speed Machine post..not that there is rarely restock but the thing is i rarely buy variations..i prefer having one variant that looks the best compare to other variants.
anyway these are what came during the 7E sales last month (year) lol

This is the second variation i have..this version imo looks even better than the first one..
like it even more because it follows the theme of the original 1996 Mclaren GTR prototype

Speed Machines : Evo X Second Color

Though the latest 7-11 sales only restocked with repeating waves of Ratbombs and below,
at least the Speed Machines got some new stuff to counter it.
One of it is the second color Evo X! lovely!

which one do you like better? Red for me still :)

Speed Machines: McLaren F1 GTR

HotWheels Speed Machines is getting more and more interesting with each wave.
this time featuring yet another new casting which is the Mclaren F1 GTR.
Used to be the fastest and the most expensive road car before the Bugatti Veyron comes into production. The one thing unique about this car is of course the driving position which is in the middle, imitating the F1 concept.

While the tampo of this version isn't really to my liking, it still looks pretty enough and the casting itself is really good. Anyway one good news for sure is, now not only Mr. Bean can own it, we can too!! LOL XD

Speed Machines: Corvette C6R

Another C6R entry this time featuring the second color of the Speed Machines series, but unfortunately aside from the nice casting, the decal design of this variant cannot uphold the glory of the first variant.
I would say its just like any other typical Hot Wheels tampo design.
But, still a worth to grab for C6R fans and collectors.

Side by side comparison with the first variant.

Speed Machines: Ferrari Enzo

Even though some say the Enzo design is like overdoing it but many of the collectors i know love it.
The Speed Machine Enzo is simply perfect for me.
it's in red, co-mould wheels and neat decals.

Speed Machines: Jaguar XJ220

The XJ220 casting was first out in 1993..
not really my favourite casting but since the Speed machine version has good details on it i decided to buy it..love the jaguar tampo on both sides of the car

Speed Machines : Ferrari 599 XX

Just when we thought the 1st color C6R is the best of Speed Machines,
here comes another epic, the 599XX!
what so cool about it is it's a new casting and it's a 599XX! lol
Hot Wheels might be the only one producing it right now so its totally a bargain and a must get!
let the pictures do the poisoning :P

and lastly two new wallpapers for u guys in 1366x768 resolution

hope u like 'em :)

Speed Machines : Evo X

One of Hot Wheels best castings IMO is the Mitsubishi Evo X.
First released in 2008, the 1st edition already offered quite a well detailed model.
the Speed Machines version adds a little more awesomeness to the casting.
truly one of the sought after models especially here in Malaysia.
Evo fans surely gonna like 'em.

Speed Machines Audi TTS

Hot Wheels probably the first to have this casting in its production.
not sure about others but im sure none is in 1/64 scale.
Matchbox has an Audi TT but it was the previous version.
not as nice as this one IMO..

new casting, well detailed, quite accurate..good buy..heh

Speed Machines Nissan GT-R SpecV

one of the popular speed machines out there is this Nissan GT-R
the funny thing is though it is said to be the specV, but none of the car exterior resembles a specV..
not even in its correct color..LOL
but when i was searching for a specv pictures..i did see one in this color scheme but that was photoshop-ed picture before the real one is out.
anyway its still a GT-R and we still love it..oh yeah :)

the most important part, the tail lights are done properly..
that's what matters..lol
i wont compare this with the Tomica Limited because of the obvious price difference
so this GT-R could be the best in its price range..a good buy it is :)

Speed Machines Ford GT LM

Saw this car parked illegally in front of my house so i TOW it
Got free car then yippee~ lol :P

Though the color is a bit too funky to my liking but the detailing compensate for that..i think with Co-mold wheels, the FE version might do even better! :)
